I am a total kitchen gadget geek...er....geekette! My husband has his tool fetish and my obsession lies with kitchen appliances. When the Nutribullet first came on the scene I ordered it right away. At the time, I was using this blah, blah basic blender that never really thrilled me much, I barely used it because it was so darn boring, so I couldn't wait to get something new, something really cool and innovative like the Nutribullet.
The day it arrived I was pumped, I tore the box open, unwrapped my little gift to myself and started making the very first smoothie from the recipe guide. I was so impressed at how the Nutribullet handled with ease, it took up virtually no space at all, and went to work pulverizing every bit of fruit, vegetable, seed, and nut I threw into it. I was hooked!
It's been months now and I'm still very much in love The Nutri-Bullet Blender and how convenient it is to use. It makes my life so easy especially first thing in the A.M. when I'm jetting off to work and need a quick smoothie to wake me up and boost my energy.
During my lunch hour, I eat a big salad full of color: greens, reds and yellows, then I add in some healthy fats like: avocado, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds - It keeps me full until dinner and cleans the colon. But, did you know that even in eating something as healthy as a salad, for example, it still puts a lot of work on your body to break down that salad and get it ready for absorption? That's why the Nutribullet is so fantastic, it breaks down every bit of food, it pulverizes it into tiny little bits so your body can easily absorb the vitamins and transfer them to your bloodstream. Another fantastic thing about this super duper grinding machine is that you can blend just about any number of fruits and veggie combinations you want - whatever floats your healthy boat. You don't have to follow the recipe guide if you won't want too. All you have to do is remember to stick to the 50-50 method, which is using 50% vegetables and 50% fruit, then finish with either nuts, seeds, or super charges like; chia seeds, goji berries, acai berries, maca powder, flaxseeds and hemp seeds.
My Very First Recipe
50% Kale
50% fruits; strawberries & watermelon
1 handful of cilantro
1 tbs. Maca Powder
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
Delicious dessert recipe
1.5 cups of coconut water
2 tbs. Raw Honey
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
3 tbs Raw Cacao Nibs
2 tbs. Raw Almonds
There are LOTS of recipes to explore and mix and match with, not to mention, great ideas for soups, salads, desserts, snacks, you name it. Just play around with whatever gets your tastebuds singing and have fun with it, all the while knowing that you're doing your health a world of good each time you Nutri-Bullet!
